So
...a lot has happened since my last, pathetic, solitary little post:

I started my Master's degree (Master of Arts in Theological Studies) and began (recreational) introductory New Testament Greek---eek!!! I told myself for years that I would never "do" college again as I'm pretty sure my inner perfectionism traumatized my faculties.

Yet, here I am. And, may He be glorified in it all.

Now that I'm over the shock and settled into balancing my daily routine, dare I say that (so far) I am actually enjoying it? I pray I'm not speaking too soon, lol. But seriously, it is such a blessing. I pray He uses it as He wills. So far, I'm learning more and more about what I do/don't believe about Him...and, discovering along the way, that I am SUCH a tiny minnow in the ever-expanding SEA of life (embellishing a previous professor's critique ;). It's SO true. I know so little and haven't even scratched the surface. Yes, I'm orthodox, but I honestly can't tell you at this point what denomination (if any) I ascribe to .

However, I'm also not sure that that matters to God. I sincerely believe that He is blessed by our journeys, so long as we tread them in humility and Truth (John 14:6).

All of that to leave a link which is so helpful in teaching me the Greek alphabet tonight. My memory needs the supplementary jolt of coffee, but it's too late for that tonight.

On a side-note, I'm shocked to find that I've been saying "iota" wrong all these years...it's "ee-ota," not "I-ota."

Blessings, friends, and, should you need it, I'm leaving the link below. I would love to hear from you on this or so many subjects :).

  1. The Picture of Hermione is of course cute. It's unfortunate that Emma Watson has succumbed to many of the ungodly views that she has, considering her once likability and talent as an actress.
That said, I enjoy your post, Whitney. It was short and simple. Like you, I wish to learn more about God and his creation. I'm pleased to here that you are enjoying your Greek classes. I think you are doing excellent (based on everything you have recited to me). Keep up the good work, sis.
